Iranian Headache Association introduction

Iranian Headache Association (IHA) is a national, nonprofit organization.

It was founded in 2013 as a subdivision of the Iranian Neurological Society. In 2015, it became a member of the International Headache Society (IHS) and the European Headache Federation (EHF). IHA was approved as a multidisciplinary organization in 2021 that collaborates with neurologists, pediatric neurologists, psychiatrists, physiatrists, and pain specialists to advance headache science and improve the lives of people affected by headache disorders.

Over the years, IHA has been actively involved in educating general practitioners, residents, and neurology specialists. It has also made significant strides in enhancing the diagnosis and treatment of headache disorders in Iran through seminars, annual congresses, headache schools, and workshops.

Furthermore, the association has conducted extensive research related to headache disorders, with the results being published in high-impact international journals.

Now we are on the way to meet our goals and invite all of our esteemed colleagues to help society achieve its best.
